I was awarded the LOTR Award by Celtic Traveler!
Thanks!
Now, I must answer the following questions:
1-Who is your favorite LOTR character and why?
Frodo. Those of you who know me well know well also that I am a furiously rigid protector of the truth: Frodo's selflessness and simplicity and unearthly endurance are the heart of the Quest and story. I've admired this like I've admired nothing else in literature.
2-If you were in Middle Earth, what species would you be?
A hobbit. The simple things in life are most beautiful, and who wouldn't want to live in a hobbit hole in the country? I'd be of the Baggins or Took lineage though, as I would one day seek to satisfy my wanderlust.
3-If you were in Middle Earth, where would you be from?
The Shire. (See #2.)
4-If you were with the fellowship in Lothlorien, what gift would you have wanted from Galadriel?
I would really, really like a cloak that made me invisible, or at least mostly invisible.
5-Which language out of Middle Earth would you want to learn?
After thinking about it for awhile, even though the Elvish languages are enticing, I'd quite like to learn the language of the Rhohirrim, as I wish I could learn something akin to Old English.
I award these fellow LOTR-Lovers:
Emily
Firieth
Anne Marie

Le hannon, my dear! Of course I agree with favorite (though I suppose my favorite is in some ways, FrodoandSam, one person). I would be (and am) a Took living in a Baggins. Of course I would live in the Shire for its simplicity and peacefulness. I would love to be able to speak Elvish. Not sure what gift - either a cloak or the phial.
ReplyDeleteNamarie, God bless, Anne Marie :)
